Our task was not simply to document what happened on track at the 24h race at the Nürburgring.
We wanted to make the meaning of these twenty-four hours tangible, even for viewers who had never experienced the Nordschleife before. The film had to capture what the race demands from every driver, mechanic and machine, and how every decision, setback and push contributes to the same goal.
FORMAT67 was responsible for the entire project, from the initial idea, concept and direction to production, studio sequences, car-to-car footage, editing, sound design and final delivery. The result needed to feel cinematic, emotional and authentic, while remaining rooted in the real people, pressure and unpredictability of the race.
